How do they sleep? (A spectrum of mattress disposal options)

Wake up! The illegal disposal of mattresses could be happening near you. This collection (also available as a photo book - click the Blurb link in PHOTOBOOKS) provides just a snapshot of mattress disposal options in a small part of the West Midlands, but many people who live elsewhere will probably recognise the examples included here. Four examples of good behaviour have also been included, plus there's a postscript to the collection which shows how such bulky waste could disappear more quickly from where it has been dumped, ie strip the material and just leave the skeleton of springs for the scrap metal collectors.
